A good design is important for websites and social media, but beyond just looking good, the design must keep the web user in mind, help them find what they're looking for, while also maintaining credibility and brand.
With this round of menu design we wanted to go beyond just a new look, our goal was to reduce the amount of pages, as well as the paper and how it was bound - giving it more of a premium feel. This menu was developed to tell a story about Unos and the experience the customer will have with the food. The use of large editorial photos, bold distressed fonts gives this menu character.
I developed and came up with the idea for a special T-shirt to go along with our "Whole Hog Burger" promotion/contest. The winners were excited to show off the swag after they successfully finished the large burger along with fries and onion rings.
I was commissioned by a restaurant company to develop t-shirts. They own two types of restaurants, one was celebrating 80 yrs in the pizza and Italian category and the other was celebrating 60 yrs in the Mexican category.

these series of shirts are designed to express a message to the consumer. Each shirt is specified to a category "Baked with love" is for the pizza station and "We chop you enjoy" is for the salad station.
Environmental design sets the stage for any place of business, and most importantly a restaurant or retail shop. This is the design process that addressed everything from the menu boards, artwork, outside signage, labeling, to the interior color palette.
Uno Pizzeria & Grill developed a new concept within their franchise, to create a fast casual local pizza joint. This new concept was harkening back to the roots of the original Pizzeria in Downtown Chicago, the mood board was based off of the original location. I was given the task to combine the nostalgic with a slight contemporary look & feel.
From choosing the interior colors, to developing the menu panels, signage, exterior and digital advertising, merchandising displays and packaging, I wanted the customer to feel like they were ordering food from their local market, where all the produce was right out back, even though they were in the heart of a major city.
